Fort Wayne, Indiana. — Seattle performer Cory Black earned third place at the 2026 International Jugglers’ Association Championships, one of the world’s premier stage juggling competitions and the championship competition of North America’s largest annual juggling festival.
Black’s award-winning act combines elite freestyle football with traditional toss juggling, a rare combination developed over more than 16 years of freestyle football practice and 11 years of juggling training.
The International Jugglers’ Association Championships is an annual event that travels to a different North American city every year. The event attracts many of the world’s top jugglers, who compete before a live audience each year. Black’s performance placed him among the competition’s top performers, earning him a bronze medal. This year, competitors traveled to Fort Wayne, Indiana from across the United States, Japan, Taiwan, and even further afield.

Cory Black is a Seattle-based performer specializing in freestyle football and juggling. He recently earned bronze at the 2026 International Jugglers’ Association Championships and has performed more than 300 live shows across the United States, including multiple touring seasons with Flynn Creek Circus and performances for organizations including Google, Nordstrom, Pfizer, Seattle Sounders FC, and FIFA World Cup 26 fan events.
